Senior Java Engineer

• Deep expertise in multithreaded and concurrent programming, including lock-free algorithms and low-latency optimizations.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling highly resilient distributed systems.
• Track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects through full lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for planning, code generation, and testing.
• Comfortable reading and maintaining legacy or complementary systems built in C#.

• Design and build low-latency, high-performance trading algorithms and robust distributed system components in Java.
• Lead delivery of strategic engineering initiatives from concept through rollout and support.
• Coordinate across engineering, trading, and business stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership to shape architecture, engineering standards, and practices.
• Mentor and up-skill engineers via coaching and design collaboration.
• Conduct rigorous design and code reviews to improve quality.
• Continuously optimize systems to improve efficiency, scalability, latency, and stability.
• Collaborate directly with traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize the execution platform.
