Senior Software Engineer (.NET/JS, SQL)

LYNQ builds modern manufacturing software that helps factories plan, track, automate, analyse and optimise their operations. • Senior-level expertise with .NET, backed by 8+ years of experience.
• Strong C# / ASP.NET Core skills building production web solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating large language models into production software, including working with provider APIs (Anthropic, Azure OpenAI), prompt engineering, structured JSON outputs, tool use, streaming, and token/cost management.
• Understanding of LLM orchestration patterns: routing, retries, fallbacks, context construction, retrieval over application data, and output quality evaluation.
• Solid JavaScript experience.
• Deep MS SQL Server knowledge (T-SQL, indexing, query tuning).
• Experience with background jobs and resilient integrations including idempotency, retries, and poison-message handling.
• Security mindset including tokens/claims, roles/permissions, multi-tenancy, and data handling implications with AI services.
• Clear communication, ownership, and pragmatic shipping approach.

Nice to have:

• Experience building agentic or multi-step AI workflows (function calling, MCP, RAG pipelines, vector search).
• Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation tooling (tracing, prompt versioning, regression testing).
• ERP/enterprise integrations (REST, OData, GraphQL) and manufacturing domain knowledge.
• Experience operating SaaS with occasional on-premises deployments.
• Familiarity with MES space and connectors to leading ERPs.

• Enhance core platform runtime services, configuration, caching, telemetry, and background processing in a multi-tenant architecture.
• Design and build an LLM orchestration and integration layer with AI gateway, provider connectors, prompt management, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and audit logging.
• Implement AI safety and governance guardrails including tenant isolation, data minimisation, output validation, cost and usage controls, and observability.
• Design data integration patterns and ETL pipelines for ingestion, validation, mapping, reconciliation, incremental syncs, retries, and monitoring.
• Write clear, testable code, profile and tune services and queries at production scale.
