Senior Kotlin Multiplatform Developer (bankowość)

This position is for a Senior Kotlin Multiplatform Developer role within the banking industry, based in Warsaw, Poland. The role involves working in a hybrid model with partial office presence and remote work. The company requires advanced expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform and experience with mobile and backend software development.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development (mobile or backend).
• At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin and 1 year of commercial experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Participation in at least one production project using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin features such as Coroutines, Flow, and Extension Functions, and KMP concepts like Shared Modules and expect/actual mechanisms.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android architecture components (ViewModel, Lifecycle, Hilt/Koin).
• Familiarity with KMP integration on iOS and basic knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit.
• Practical knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, and app modularization.
• Experience with REST API, GraphQL, Kotlinx Serialization, and data management (cache, offline-first).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using MockK or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Gradle (KTS), Git, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Skills in designing solutions, ensuring code quality, performing code reviews, and resolving performance issues.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Compose Multiplatform.
• Knowledge of Ktor.
• Experience with Kotlin/JS or WebAssembly (Wasm).
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience as a Tech Lead, mentoring, or defining technical standards.

• Design and develop applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Create and maintain shared business modules and data layers.
• Integrate KMP modules with Android and iOS applications.
• Design application architecture based on Clean Architecture and modularization principles.
• Implement API communication (REST, GraphQL) and manage local caching and data synchronization.
• Write unit and integration tests for shared and platform modules.
• Collaborate with Android, iOS, and backend teams.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and maintain code quality.
• Analyze application performance, debug, and optimize solutions.
• Co-create technical standards and support less experienced developers.
