React Native Tech Lead / Architect

This role is for a Mobile Developer Architect/Leader working within the Experience Engineering and Digital Emerging Tech portfolios. The position involves building high performance enterprise-grade mobile applications using React Native and Salesforce Mobile SDK for a global FMCG leader.

• Expert-level proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Mobile SDK and Smart Store DB
• Deep understanding of Redux for state management
• Experience integrating OpenCV or similar C/Native modules into React Native apps
• Advanced proficiency with GitHub workflows

Nice to have:

• Ability to write native bridges in Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin
• Experience with hyperscaler backend services (GCP, Azure, Cloud Run, App Services)
• Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Knowledge of mobile security including OAuth2, certificate pinning, and secure local storage
• Understanding of FMCG domain workflows such as retail execution, van sales, or fieldforce automation

• Design and develop robust cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native
• Implement and customize mobile solutions using the Salesforce Mobile SDK for data synchronization
• Architect offline-first capabilities using Smart Store DB and SmartSync for local data persistence
• Implement image processing and computer vision features using OpenCV
• Manage application state and data flows using Redux or Redux Toolkit
• Build high-fidelity responsive UIs adhering to global brand standards
• Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub
• Prototype mobile-first AI/ML features integrating hyperscaler APIs (e.g., GCP Vision AI)
• Lead technical design, perform code reviews, optimize app performance, and mentor junior developers
