Data Modeller

Antal is recruiting for a Data Modeller position for a client in the financial sector, located in Kraków, Poland. The role involves supporting global, regional, and local projects related to enterprise data management across Global Businesses and Functions.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic data modeling using RDBMS, dimensional, and NoSQL data platforms, ETL, and data ingestion protocols
• Knowledge of metadata management and data modelling tools such as Erwin or Visual Paradigm
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-centre contexts
• Experience with MongoDB is advantageous
• Experience in team management, strong communication, presentation skills, and good oral English

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for RDBMS, operational data stores, application databases, data marts, and data lakes on SQL/NoSQL/cloud/on-prem platforms
• Oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and optimize data query performance using best practices
• Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms and data tools
• Collaborate with business and solution teams to implement data strategies and build data flows
• Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related enterprise data models
• Identify architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, automated data loads, security, analytic models, and data visualisations
• Perform hands-on modelling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, and sandbox proof of concepts
• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and mitigate delivery risks

Work location: Kraków, hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote. Cooperation model: Full-time / B2B contract.
