Senior Java Developer

The project is an airline retailing and merchandising platform that enables airlines to create personalized offers and dynamic pricing for customers. The team delivers a modern, omni-channel, real-time retailing shopping experience, consolidating common components including offer management system. The product is high-performance, operationally complex, and interacts with several mission-critical products.

• Minimum 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot with enterprise-grade API design and maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of Web Services (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute/GKE, networking, security, storage, messaging, and monitoring/observability tools.
• Familiarity with containerized and cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and cloud-integrated DevOps practices.
• Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in test and production environments to improve stability and performance.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and producing documentation, with AI assistance.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and shift-left testing approaches.
• Communicative English and Polish (written and spoken) for cross-functional collaboration.

• Design, code, test, and build high-quality enterprise software according to requirements.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, comprehension, and test generation.
• Perform unit testing and maintain code quality, security, and performance standards.
• Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable services using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with platform, security, and SRE teams to align solutions with cloud, security, and reliability standards.
• Support the Technical Product Manager in preparation and refinement of requirements.
• Provide input to story prioritization, technical tradeoffs, estimation, and sizing activities.
• Attend and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, release planning, and technical reviews.
• Update status in Rally daily and work with teams to improve engineering and DevOps practices.

Must possess a legal work permit in Poland.
