Head of PMO

SPEEDNET Sp. z o.o. is a Gdańsk-based software company with a team of over 200 developers specializing in web and mobile applications. For more than 20 years, they have been creating software for both Polish and international projects, including various startup ideas, business-supporting applications for SMEs, and complex multiplatform banking systems.

• Extensive experience leading, supervising, or supporting projects in a software house or similar organization.
• Worked on technology projects for external clients across various industries, cooperation models, and client types.
• Responsible for Project Manager teams, project portfolios, project management standards, or PMO operations.
• Ability to support others using personal experience.
• Skilled in analyzing project situations, asking relevant questions, and identifying risks.
• Prepared to work in a less formal, dynamic environment without extensive corporate processes.
• Experience implementing solutions in distributed teams working mainly on external client projects.
• Capable of supporting Project Managers in areas such as budget, profitability, scope, schedule, team, client relations, and escalations.
• Experience nurturing people through mentoring, feedback, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Willingness to visit the Gdańsk office approximately twice a month.

• Manage a team of around 10 Project Managers.
• Develop practical project management standards adapted to the organization.
• Analyze project situations and identify risks related to budget, scope, schedule, team, client, and profitability.
• Assess the current PMO operations and propose directions for its development.
• Support Project Managers in preparing corrective plans, escalations, and client communications.
• Build a culture of knowledge exchange and leveraging experiences from various projects.
• Develop team competencies through mentoring, training, regular feedback, and project case analysis.
• Respond to crisis situations and support projects needing additional attention.
