DevOps Engineer

ITFS is offering a fully remote DevOps Engineer position based in Poland, working on a stable company with a solid market position. The project involves working on an interesting and developmental cloud infrastructure development initiative.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in practical DevOps or Cloud Engineer hands-on coding and engineering
• Expert proficiency in Terraform for advanced IaC coding, state refactoring, and integrations with CI/CD
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Practical experience with AWS or Azure, especially in IAM, networking, and security
• High project maturity with risk understanding, rollback planning, and data validation
• English language proficiency at least B2/C1 level
• Willingness to occasionally communicate in afternoons/evenings due to US market collaboration

Nice to have:

• Experience in advanced platform migrations like GitLab instance migrations and complex permission transfers
• Familiarity with specialized secret management tools

• Building and developing secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Managing IaC state and creating reusable modules via API-driven approach
• Planning and executing migration processes involving code, CI/CD pipelines, and databases
• Developing validation procedures, contingency plans, and formal technical acceptance
• Secure migration and configuration of identities, permissions, and service accounts following Least Privilege
• Managing secrets, tokens, and API keys during environment transfers
• Diagnosing and solving complex issues in CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI and runner configurations
• Creating long-term technical documentation of architecture and procedures
• Implementing and training client teams on new cloud environments

Work location is 100% remote from Polish territory. Cooperation form is B2B.
