Software Engineer (Python / Full-Stack / DevOps) (m/f/d)

ALM Services Technology Group develops end-to-end Web and Mobile Solutions. Founded in 2009 in Poland, with a branch in Budapest opened in 2022, the group collaborates closely with customers, usually in long-term relations. Since 2020, they have cooperated with a multinational company in the med-tech and analytics space, building multiple applications and supporting their growth.

• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs
• Practical experience with Node.js and React
• Experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on knowledge of GitLab CI/CD or equivalent tooling
• Experience working with Azure
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar data platforms
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and production support
• Experience with ETL or data pipelines
• Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable, and secure code
• Confidence working independently and communicating technical decisions clearly
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while remaining responsible for code quality, security, and correctness

Nice to have:

• Experience with GCP
• For Senior level: experience designing system architecture and ownership of cloud reliability, networking, identity, security, scalability, observability, and infrastructure decisions
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, Full-Stack Development, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and code review skills
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English

• Design, develop, and maintain Python microservices and REST APIs
• Build and maintain application features using Node.js and React
• Deploy and operate applications in Azure using Docker and Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent tools
• Work with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and data-processing pipelines
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and production health checks
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Write clean, testable, maintainable, and secure code
• Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and infrastructure teams
• Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining responsibility for technical correctness
• Define and evolve application and cloud architecture
• Make technical decisions related to scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cost
• Take ownership of Azure networking, identity, access management, and production operations
• Define observability, deployment, and production-readiness standards
• Assess technical trade-offs and identify architectural and operational risks
• Guide engineers through design, code review, troubleshooting, and delivery
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex application and infrastructure components
