Golang Developer

Scalo offers projects related to designing and developing backend microservices and APIs primarily in Golang. The role involves development of solutions based on event-driven architecture, asynchronous communication, and integration with IoT devices using the MQTT protocol. The project location is Wrocław, Poland with remote work mode and involves collaboration with architects and specialists in DevOps, QA, Frontend, and Flutter in the Healthcare and IoT domains.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in projects using Go.
• Very good knowledge of Go concurrency model including goroutines, channels, and context.
• Experience designing and developing production backend services and APIs.
• Practical knowledge of REST, gRPC, and OpenAPI.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming/queueing platforms like Kafka.
• Knowledge of MQTT protocol and IoT device integrations.
• Experience designing highly available and scalable backend systems.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, pgx, sqlc) and time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and structured logging.
• Experience testing Go applications (testing, testify, integration tests).
• Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, OIDC); knowledge of Keycloak is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with distributed project teams.
• English proficiency at C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Healthcare, MedTech, or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Go frameworks (Gin, Echo, Chi, Fiber).
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Experience with cloud-native tools (client-go, Kubebuilder, Operator SDK).
