C++ Developer/ Embedded Software Engineer

Scalo is seeking an experienced developer to work on the development and maintenance of C++ applications utilizing Qt and QML, embedded component development, and communication layers for IoT devices. The projects focus on Healthcare and IoT domains with real-time data processing and cross-platform solutions for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.

• Minimum 5 years experience in projects using C++
• Practical knowledge of Qt and desktop application development
• Experience with embedded projects
• Implementation experience with MQTT communication
• Practical knowledge of CMake
• Experience with OpenSSL and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) libraries
• Unit testing experience using GoogleTest
• Experience creating cross-platform applications
• Familiarity with integration testing using Cucumber
• Experience working with version control system Git
• English proficiency enabling technical communication (minimum B2/C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Linux Embedded systems
• Knowledge of Yocto and cross-compilation processes
• Experience maintaining large C++ projects
• Knowledge of QML and Felgo framework
• Knowledge of qmake
• Experience with Boost library
• Knowledge of RapidCheck and property-based testing
• Experience in Healthcare, IoT, or real-time systems projects

• Development and maintenance of C++ applications using Qt and QML
