Senior Network Security Engineer

Scalo is a company offering network security services with experience in Enterprise environments, specializing in infrastructure network design and security solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Security / Network Engineering in Enterprise environments.
• Excellent knowledge of Fortinet solutions: FortiGate, FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, FortiSSO, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient EMS.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure and security solutions.
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies: BGP, OSPF, L2 Switching, IPsec, SSL VPN, QoS, Load Balancing, RADIUS, TACACS+, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
• Practical knowledge of network security (IPS, NAC, 802.1X, ISE, network segmentation).
• Experience working with Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, or related solutions.
• Ability to automate processes using Python and/or Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud environments Azure and AWS.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, technical analyses, and conducting PoCs.
• English language proficiency enabling work with technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Experience with FortiNAC.
• Certifications such as Fortinet (FCP, FCSS), Cisco CCNP, or equivalent.

• Designing and implementing network segmentation in Enterprise environments.
• Implementing and configuring solutions including FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient EMS (FortiEMS), and FortiNAC.
• Maintaining and developing network security infrastructure.
• Designing network and security architecture.
• Configuring and optimizing network devices and firewalls.
• Integrating authentication and access control systems.
• Participating in technical analyses, proof of concepts (PoC), and architectural recommendation preparation.
• Creating technical documentation, RFI/RFP, and feasibility analyses.
• Automating administrative and operational processes using Python and Ansible.
• Supporting infrastructure and security teams in network best practices.
