SQL Server Migration Specialist

Diverse CG Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. is recruiting for a role focused on Microsoft SQL Server database migration and administration involving end-to-end migration projects and high availability solutions.

• Strong experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end SQL Server migration projects
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing high availability solutions based on SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
• Practical experience working with Windows Server Failover Clustering in database environments
• Experience designing and operating backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server
• Ability to diagnose and improve SQL Server performance in complex environments
• Experience configuring and supporting high availability and disaster recovery setups
• Experience coordinating complex technical initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of enterprise IT governance, change management, and risk management practices
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience working with T-SQL in administrative and operational contexts
• Experience automating repetitive database or infrastructure tasks (e.g., scripting)
• Familiarity with database migration tools and approaches used in enterprise environments
• Experience in performance and capacity planning for SQL Server platforms
• Experience working with monitoring and observability tools in database environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple migration activities in parallel
• Structured and analytical problem-solving approach

• Plan and execute migrations of Microsoft SQL Server databases and applications to target platforms
• Coordinate end-to-end migration lifecycle across application, infrastructure, vendor, and business teams
• Provision standalone SQL Server instances in resilient environments
• Implement and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Group clusters
• Ensure secure, stable, and efficient migration processes
• Support onboarding to strategic database platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align migration activities and timelines
