Forte is a technology company with about 400 specialists including developers, designers, and delivery managers working in Oslo, Berlin, Copenhagen, Kraków, and Katowice. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will join one of the teams developing digital products for clients from Northern Europe, focused on quality and long-term partnership. The team works on modern digital services, AI & data platforms, commerce and retail, sustainability & energy, and business platforms and digital services, building web platforms supporting thousands of users, business process support systems, and AI/data-driven solutions.
Wymagania
- Very good knowledge of data platform architecture
- Practical experience building solutions in Databricks using Python/PySpark (alternatively Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse)
- Experience in software development
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar
- Experience designing solutions based on data platforms
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure cloud services and .NET
- Knowledge of AI-supported programming environments, agentic programming techniques, and MCP (Model Context Protocol)

- Design and implement reliable and scalable data processing pipelines
- Continuously improve existing data platforms in terms of performance, cost, and maintenance ease
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver appropriate solutions
- Work together with other teams and technical leaders across the organization
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable regulations, standards, and requirements
- Monitor new technologies and initiate and implement innovative solutions
