QA Engineer for Payments Team

GR8_TECH builds B2B iGaming platforms for operators. The team consists of over 1000 employees across multiple locations and time zones, delivering full-cycle scalable technology, from integrations and consulting to operational support, powering millions of active players.

Must-have:

• 3+ years of Manual QA or Software Testing experience in the FinTech domain.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Good understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of client-server architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher plus fluency in Ukrainian or Russian.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools and scripting.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience in high-load or product-based environments.

Test execution & quality assurance:

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate software against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure high-quality releases.
• Support performance and load testing activities when needed.

Defect management:

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Investigate issues and provide reproducible steps.
• Collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects efficiently.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend preventive improvements.

Collaboration & delivery:

• Partner with developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to test planning ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
• Support release readiness by validating critical functionality.

Process improvement:

• Improve testing documentation, QA processes, and methodologies.
• Contribute to developing reusable test scenarios and frameworks.
• Enhance testing efficiency through tooling and automation collaboration.
• Support junior QA engineers' professional growth.
