Data Engineer

PKO BP Finat is part of the PKO BP bank group and operates in the financial sector in Warsaw, Poland.

• 4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a high data volume sector.
• Experience designing and modeling data structures (data warehouses, DataLakes) for advanced analytics and real-time or near real-time systems.
• Experience working with environments processing very large data volumes.
• Ability to build optimal structures for 360-degree client profiles (Customer Golden Record), behavioral aggregates, and feature stores.
• Practical experience integrating analytical systems with operational systems (e.g., linking decision/recommendation engines with Campaign Management platforms).
• Experience building and maintaining stable ETL/ELT data pipelines feeding CRM campaigns, both batch and event-triggered.
• Understanding of CRM data specifics (marketing consents, contact history, opt-out).
• Proficient in SQL with experience in query optimization.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud.
• Experience with Big Data technologies for processing large volumes.
• Practical knowledge of modern analytic-optimized data storage formats.
• Experience with orchestration tools.

Nice to have:

• Experience in migrations and knowledge of CRM solution architectures such as Pega, Salesforce, SAS, Adobe.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Design, build, and optimize data structures for Real-Time Decisioning, recommendation engines, and CRM Next Best Action/Next Best Activity systems.
• Create optimized data structures for 360-degree client profiles.
• Create optimized structures for reporting purposes.
• Design and build interfaces and connections with systems outside the CRM ecosystem, collaborating with bank units.
• Implement data quality control and validation mechanisms.
