The Network Security Product area develops leading-edge security platforms and automated orchestration to make Roche’s connectivity accessible and secure, working alongside Cloud, Infrastructure, and Incident Response teams globally.
Wymagania
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in development frameworks, software engineering, or automation engineering within complex infrastructure environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for scalable automation.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Practical knowledge of GitLab and GitHub, including project launch, versioning policies, runner configuration, and migration of version control infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and cybersecurity principles applicable to infrastructure.
- Experience with JavaScript, Groovy, cloud platforms, containers, and frontend configuration.
- Strong customer- and delivery-focused software development mindset applied to cybersecurity.
- Ability to work independently and establish technical standards.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English to work with virtual global engineering groups.
- Strong software troubleshooting, code-reviewing, and architectural decision-making skills.
Obowiązki
- Collaboratively build, design, adapt, and standardize internal security development frameworks and engineering practices.
- Provide software design insights and define secure control guardrails for network controls.
- Drive code development for infrastructure services with robust scripts, modular automation blocks, and custom APIs.
- Guide technical implementations throughout the software engineering lifecycle, deploying tested, scalable security features using CI/CD.
- Standardize core development workflows including version control, testing, and peer reviews to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to monitor and improve the reliability and maintenance of network infrastructure code.
- Support the delivery, design, and maintenance of technologies protecting networks, including Internet Security Stack, DDoS Protection, VPN, Network Access Control, and Deep Packet Inspection.
