Architect RAN

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications operator and cybersecurity services provider. It has built the second largest fiber-optic network in Poland and is expanding its international network. The company conducts R&D in ICT, creating proprietary network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - proprietary anti-DDoS). It also provides satellite communication services based on its own teleport.

• Experience in designing or maintaining 4G/5G radio networks, particularly in the RAN area.
• Practical knowledge of RAN architecture (gNB, cell configuration, frequency planning, RAN KPIs).
• Understanding of RAN integration with 5G CN and transport elements (backhaul/fronthaul).
• Knowledge of the telecommunications market and visionary perspective on its development by 2030.
• Comprehensive knowledge of 3GPP work, especially regarding IMT-2020 (5G) and IMT-2030 (6G).
• Experience in developing long-term action plans (strategies).
• Experience collaborating with technical teams (domain architects and solution architects).
• Experience conducting discussions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
• Experience working with technical teams and mobile technology suppliers.

• Planning and development of Private 5G networks in the scope of RAN.
• Defining, agreeing on, and refining key functional and technical requirements.
• Comprehensive planning of the 5G radio access network including topology, capacity, coverage, and radio parameters.
• Continuous monitoring of technological trends and acquisition of knowledge on long-term RAN and 5G radio network development.
• Collaboration with technical teams of external entities (suppliers and technology integrators for 5G).
