Software Engineer II (Marketing AI Team)

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. is hiring a Generalist Engineer for the Marketing AI Team to enable AI transformation for the entire marketing organisation by building foundational layers for products and tools. The team works in a hybrid model in Kraków under a local Engineering Manager.

• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, strong preference for Go.
• Hands-on experience with querying, wrangling, and interpreting data.
• Real experience and fluency working with AI and LLMs, with a healthy skepticism.
• Ability to work independently and judiciously involve others as needed.
• Passion for security and proactive approach to safety concerns.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity or enthusiasm for Rust or Zig.

• Own problems end to end, from partner discussions through production deployment.
• Make autonomous decisions on architecture, tradeoffs, and priorities supported by data.
• Collaborate directly with people across the business to translate requests into products.
• Use AI tooling daily while critically assessing its outputs.
• Analyze data to support decision making and draw validated conclusions.
• Grow as an engineer relied upon by colleagues for important projects.
