Mid/Senior Mainframe Engineer (System Automation)

Verks is hiring for a role focused on IBM z/OS mainframe system automation and monitoring solutions in Kraków.

• Experience in IBM Z System Automation (SA z/OS).
• Experience in mainframe infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of IBM NetView for monitoring and system management.
• Desired skills in REXX, JCL, system commands, and services monitoring.
• Onsite presence in Kraków for 6 days per month of your choice.

• Design, configuration and continuous improvement of monitoring and automation solutions for IBM z/OS environments.
• Development and implementation of automation strategies to improve operational efficiency and platform stability.
• Ensuring reliable, secure and highly available mainframe services through proactive automation and monitoring.
• Providing technical guidance on automation design and operational best practices.
• Implementing new automation workflows, enhancing existing monitoring rules and supporting ongoing service improvements.
• Partnering with international IT teams to troubleshoot production issues, resolve incidents and deliver automation projects.

Candidates must be onsite in Kraków for 6 days per month.
