Network Security Engineer

ITFS is recruiting for a Network Security Engineer position with 100% remote work in Poland. The company offers stable market position and additional benefits including medical and sports packages, and free accounting services (up to 3 entries per month).

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet technologies including FortiGate, FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient EMS.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-class network architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of network and security protocols such as BGP, OSPF, L2 Switching, IPSec, SSL VPN, QoS, Load Balancing, RADIUS, TACACS+, DNS, DHCP, SNMP.
• Familiarity with network security solutions (IPS, NAC, 802.1X, ISE).
• Experience working with devices from FortiGate, Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, HP, Check Point, or F5.
• Ability to automate processes using Python and Ansible.
• Knowledge of network solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Experience preparing technical documentation, network traffic analysis (RFI/RFP), and conducting Proof of Concept.
• English proficiency adequate for technical documentation work.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of FortiNAC solution.
• Fortinet certifications (FCSS/FCP) or Cisco CCNP or equivalent certifications.

• Design, implementation, and development of network and security solutions based on Fortinet technologies.
• Configuration and administration of FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient EMS, and FortiNAC devices.
• Planning and execution of network segmentation and deployment of new Network Security solutions.
• Maintenance and optimization of enterprise-class network infrastructure, monitoring its security and performance.
• Automation of administrative processes using Python and Ansible, and preparation of technical documentation.
• Collaboration with technical teams on problem analysis, Proof of Concept realization, and implementation of IT security best practices.
