Senior Test Automation Engineer

ITFS is offering a position working in Warsaw with a hybrid setup requiring office presence 2 to 3 days a week, in a role involving strategic planning and advancement of software testing processes.

• Senior professional experience with at least 6 years in technology and software testing
• Experience as both manual and automated test engineer with practical knowledge of automation throughout the software lifecycle
• Experience in creating automated test scripts for web and API solutions using frameworks and tools like Playwright, Postman, JMeter, JUnit, or NUnit
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
• Ability to understand complex applications including domain-based testing and engineering knowledge
• Professional English language skills at minimum C1 level, enabling fluent communication

Nice to have:

• Ability to translate business context into automation strategies ensuring validation logic compliance with industry-specific requirements

• Strategic planning and development of software testing transitioning from waterfall to agile sprint-based testing
• Collaborating with developers and engineers to maintain high quality releases and conducting necessary tests for each release
• Increasing test coverage, reducing manual test cases, and expanding test automation
• Optimizing software release processes through automation
• Configuring environments and deployments for system and integration testing and developing deployment pipeline standards
• Ensuring the integrity of financial calculations and stability of engineering tools

Workplace is hybrid in Warsaw with required office presence 2 to 3 days per week starting 01.09.2026. Contract type is B2B. English proficiency at C1 level is required for communication.
