Senior Software Engineer (Reliability)

Monday.com is an AI work platform company empowering teams to automate and build scalable impact end-to-end. The Warsaw office, established in 2022, is a growing engineering hub focused on solving impactful problems related to product and infrastructure resilience.

• Comprehensive development proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar.
• Deep understanding of SRE concepts including SLOs and SLIs.
• Proven ability to lead teams or mentor engineers.
• Experience managing high-throughput microservices and production Kubernetes/Linux internals.
• Experience in leading incident response.
• Strong interest or hands-on experience building AI or LLM-driven infrastructure tools to automate operations.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience with Chaos Engineering frameworks.

Core responsibilities:

• Architect and build next-generation internal tooling leveraging AI and LLMs to automate reliability and incident response.
• Partner with engineering teams to define and monitor business-aligned SLIs and SLOs.
• Maintain a macro-level understanding of service architecture to guide systemic safety and dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks in complex service interconnections through scalable automated solutions.
• Lead complex service re-architecture initiatives to maximize uptime and fault tolerance.
• Establish high-quality production standards and embed automated validation gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion Chaos Engineering practices, building automated testing environments and self-healing systems.
• Manage full lifecycle of internal platforms, setting development and architectural guidelines.
