Senior QA Automation Engineer (ServiceNow ATF)

Square One Resources is recruiting a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Customer Service Management (CSM) to support quality assurance in software development lifecycle processes.

• Very good knowledge of Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Extensive experience working with ITSM and CSM modules.
• Practical experience in configuring, customizing, and administrating the ServiceNow platform, with emphasis on secure authentication mechanisms and scalable architecture.
• Ability to support and train a team in test automation and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Experience designing and maintaining organized test libraries and reusable test assets.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Creating, maintaining, and continuously improving QA test libraries in collaboration with developers and platform teams.
• Creating and maintaining tests within Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Supporting and training the team on test automation and Quality Engineering best practices.
• Defining and implementing scalable testing strategies for ServiceNow CSM/SPM solutions.
• Close cooperation with stakeholders, Business Owners, and Product Owners to understand business processes and requirements.
• Translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive test concepts, scenarios, and test cases.
• Improving quality, stability, and usability of the ServiceNow platform.
• Reviewing ATF tests and preparing recommendations for their optimization.
• Reviewing requirements and preparing documentation related to Quality Assurance (QA).
• Supporting defect management, root cause analysis, and regression testing.
• Ensuring adequate test coverage for new functionalities, changes, and platform releases.
• Active participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Close cooperation with developers to integrate quality assurance activities into the software development process.
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives of QA processes, standards, and automation practices.
• Supporting validation processes for releases and deployments.
• Monitoring test execution results and preparing clear quality and risk reports.
