Senior Software Engineer (Java / Kotlin) - Allegro Ads

Join the Advertising team building Allegro Ads, a highly visible platform product working closely with the Machine Learning team to create an excellent customer experience. The role involves developing high-performance backend systems within a microservices architecture at Allegro Tech, a company with a large-scale, cloud-native environment.

• Proficient coding skills in Kotlin or Scala.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and Spark.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL including database migrations and API design.
• Enthusiasm for AI and staying at the forefront of technical innovation.
• Ability to communicate in English at a B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React and TypeScript frontend technologies.

• Code in Kotlin or Scala and use Spring Boot and Kafka to develop backend systems.
• Manage high-velocity data pipelines using Apache Airflow and Spark.
• Design and implement database migrations and API integrations using PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to implement complex models and convert raw data into actionable insights.
• Contribute to building tools that help users understand campaign performance through advanced statistics and dashboards.
• Participate in shaping the team's technical vision and new projects.

Nice to have:

• Experience with frontend technologies React and TypeScript to help build modern frontend reporting components.
