Senior JVM Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / Kubernetes)

Senior JVM Software Engineer position for a project with a major telecommunications operator in Germany. The role is within a central team responsible for the development and maintenance of solutions that support software build, deployment, and maintenance processes. The team includes DevOps Developers, a dedicated Product Owner, and a Scrum Master working in Scrum methodology with two-week sprints.

• Very good knowledge of Java
• Practical experience building microservices using Spring Boot
• Experience working with Kubernetes including deployments, troubleshooting/debugging, and managing ConfigMaps
• Experience with Docker and container environments
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Ability to read, modify, and create Helm Charts
• Knowledge of Camunda
• Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering projects

• Design and develop microservices in Java and Spring Boot
• Work with Kubernetes for application deployment and maintenance
• Prepare and manage ConfigMaps
• Collaborate in deployment processes within DevOps environment
• Read and modify Helm Charts
• Cooperate with the DevOps team to develop the platform and improve deployment processes
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Sprint Review
