The role involves contributing to a project related to the development, consulting, and support of IT systems for Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency responsible for external border management and combating cross-border crime.

Wymagania

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience
  • Minimum 4 years in a GIS-related position
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS software and analysis tools
  • Expert in Esri ArcGIS Pro version 3.0 or higher
  • Expert in using 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, and Network Analyst
  • Working knowledge of SQL language
  • Expertise in designing and producing digital maps with geographic data
  • Expertise in collecting, maintaining, and updating geodata ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Experience analyzing spatial data to discover patterns and trends
  • Producing maps showing spatial distribution from various sources
  • Proficiency in English at minimum B2 level (certification advantageous)
  • Readiness to work occasionally from the client’s office in Warsaw (at least 5 times per month)
  • Personal Security Clearance required (security screening must be initiated within 45 days of assignment)

Obowiązki

  • Support Frontex business units with geospatial related daily tasks within accepted deadlines
  • Create and implement map templates based on stakeholders’ inputs
  • Design and implement map and cartographic products
  • Create and validate geospatial data using geographic workflow processes and tools
  • Develop geo-tools based on model builder or other technologies
  • Perform geospatial analysis and data integration
  • Define and design geographic dictionaries and taxonomies
  • Collect and maintain geodata
  • Draft reports and documentation
  • Advise on best practices, processes, and procedures
  • Participate in meetings with project teams

Inne informacje

Personal Security Clearance is required (security screening process must be initiated within first 45 days of assignment). Candidates must be ready to work occasionally from the client’s office in Warsaw (at least 5 times per month).
