Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Scalo is a company delivering software projects and supporting clients in business development. They utilize a broad spectrum of IT services, including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated development teams.

• Minimum 4-5 years commercial experience in machine learning projects related to voice biometrics.
• Practical experience with speaker verification and speaker identification solutions.
• Knowledge of embeddings, scoring, model calibration, enrolment, and anti-spoofing.
• Experience with Python, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services including Kinesis, Fargate, and/or SageMaker.
• Knowledge of MLOps, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance of production models.
• Good knowledge of SQL, Git, Docker, and CI/CD environments.
• Ability to work with existing systems and develop production solutions.
• Effective teamwork skills including participation in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level.

• Realization of projects developing advanced voice biometrics solutions for authentication and fraud prevention.
• Designing, developing, and optimizing speaker verification and speaker identification systems.
• Developing processes for embedding extraction, enrolment, scoring, calibration, and threshold optimization.
• Analyzing audio quality and optimizing models for noise, codecs, and various devices.
• Implementing anti-spoofing and liveness detection solutions.
• Deploying and maintaining production ML systems in AWS environments.
• Building and developing data pipelines using Amazon Kinesis.
• Deploying models using AWS Fargate and SageMaker Endpoints.
• Developing monitoring, observability, and performance optimization of systems.
• Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing with the team.
