Mid-level Systems Analyst (Insurance, Banking) (100-125 PLN / h Netto B2B)

Our projects span from board-level strategy to hands-on implementation.

• 3–5 years of experience as a system or business analyst in IT projects, preferably in agile environments.
• Experience in the financial sector (banking, insurance, or related areas: loans, policies, payments, settlements).
• Documented experience in independently leading workshops with business and system owners – preparing agenda, conducting meetings, summarizing, and follow-up.
• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN with ability to model processes, use cases, and basic solution architecture.
• Basic knowledge of integration and solution architecture: understanding API roles (REST/SOAP), integration layers, queues, typical integration patterns, and constraints (synchronous vs asynchronous calls).
• Experience working with backlog tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps): maintaining accurate descriptions, acceptable detail level, and consistent acceptance criteria.
• Ability to write clear, unambiguous requirements (user stories, use cases, specifications) and acceptance criteria understandable by both business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of SQL sufficient to independently verify data and support business issue analysis.
• Fluent in Polish language and very good knowledge of English (B2/C1).
• Availability to start immediately.

• Independently planning and conducting workshops with stakeholders (business, system owners, risk/compliance) to identify, refine, and organize requirements.
• Conducting business process analysis, identifying gaps, and proposing end-to-end changes from user front end to back-office systems.
• Maintaining and organizing the backlog (epics, features, user stories) in cooperation with Product Owner/system owner, including scope refinement, breaking down large initiatives, and ensuring requirement consistency.
• Co-responsibility for backlog prioritization considering business value, risks, dependencies, and technical constraints (e.g., MoSCoW, WSJF).
• Creating and maintaining analytical artifacts: BPMN, UML (use case, sequence, component, ERD), requirement specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependency maps.
• Designing changes in existing solutions with basic but conscious consideration of architecture (system layers, components, dependencies, non-functional constraints).
• Collaborating with architects on integration design between systems and specification of interfaces (API, messages, data contracts).
• Basic support for development and QA teams by clarifying requirements and providing business context, focusing primarily on backlog, documentation, and business collaboration.
• Supporting UAT: preparing test scenarios based on requirements and verifying if implemented features meet business needs.

Work location restricted to Poland (100% remote, Poland).
