Product Owner (Astro Consoles)

The ASTRO Consoles team supports mission-critical communication for public safety agencies worldwide, providing widely used dispatch solutions for police, fire rescue, and emergency services. The team aims to deliver reliable, real-time, secure communication with zero downtime, focusing on market opportunities and customer success for Emergency Dispatchers.

• Firm understanding of software design, user interaction, and user interface design.
• Deep technical knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, SaFE, and Kanban.
• Experience using product and project management tools such as Jira, Figma, and Confluence.
• Comfortable experimenting with AI-supported workflows.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with polished presentation abilities.
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards challenging problems.
• Ability to research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, multi-continental team environment.

• Own the Product Lifecycle: Lead full lifecycle from market opportunities to delivery aligning with business outcomes.
• Market-Driven Innovation: Partner with Product Management for new product opportunities and conduct competitive analysis.
• Value Proposition Translation: Bridge market reality and engineering by communicating business and customer value.
• Outcome-Based Delivery: Focus development on measurable business outcomes using goal-setting frameworks like OKRs.
• Transparent Communication: Present roadmaps, metrics, and product demonstrations to executives and stakeholders.
• Design & UX Focus: Collaborate with UI/UX and research teams to create highly usable console workflows reducing cognitive load.
