QA Automation Engineer/Integration Test Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT operates on B2B cooperation principles for IT specialists, delivering projects for clients with innovative and modern initiatives. The role is for a client in the banking sector, focusing on internal company projects.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Experience testing Kafka integrations (event production/consumption, topic verification, offset, event order)
• Skills in manual (exploratory) and automated testing of asynchronous integrations
• Proficiency in writing automated tests in Java
• Experience creating BDD scenarios with Cucumber and Gherkin
• Familiarity with Gradle for project dependencies and builds
• Managing test cases, plans, and executions using Xray
• Configuring and running CI pipelines in Jenkins
• Reporting test results with Allure
• Testing and verification of REST API with Swagger
• English language skills at minimum B2 level

• Test asynchronous integrations based on event streaming using Apache Kafka
• Design and perform manual and automated event-driven integration tests
• Create and maintain automated test scenarios in Java with Cucumber (BDD)
• Build and manage test pipelines in Jenkins (CI/CD)
• Report test outcomes using Allure and manage test cases in Xray
• Verify API contracts using Swagger/OpenAPI
• Build test projects using Gradle

Only candidates with English skill level minimum B2 are considered. The contract is a B2B agreement. Work is remote but requires occasional office visits in Warsaw approximately every two months.
