Senior Cloud Engineer

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including servers, networking, databases, and security.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices including CI/CD.
• Comfortable with scripting and software development concepts.
• Knowledge of tools such as Terraform, CDK, TypeScript, GitHub, or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Understanding of IT security principles, access management, and permissions.
• Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with Scrum.
• Strong communication skills to translate scientific or business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scientific software, histology, or imaging data is a plus but not required.

• Designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
• Provisioning and troubleshooting cloud environments primarily within AWS, using infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK and Terraform.
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Supporting the team with technical analysis, solution design, and cloud engineering expertise.
• Contributing to user story refinement and feature development from a technical perspective.
• Establishing and promoting cloud engineering best practices, automation, security, and DevOps principles.
• Collaborating with stakeholders through workshops and discussions to deliver innovative solutions.
• Sharing knowledge, supporting teammates, and contributing to continuous learning culture.
