Python AI Engineer

Clurgo is a company created by developers for developers. Its teams cover full competencies—from software development and infrastructure, through analysis and testing, to strategic product and process management. They realize diverse IT projects for clients across various industries, maintaining good programming practices and work-life balance. The project is for a global financial institution and involves building and maintaining AI-powered backend applications and platforms. The team consists of 3 to 6 people working closely with a dedicated Product Owner. They follow a "full ownership" approach, delivering iteratively to production with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

• Commercial experience programming in Python
• Practical experience with LLM applications, AI agents, tool/function calling, and RAG architectures
• Knowledge of LangChain and/or LangGraph libraries
• Expertise in Prompt Engineering
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL
• Experience working with REST API and system integration
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation and observability tools (e.g., LangFuse, LangSmith)
• Experience implementing AI solutions on cloud platforms (Azure OpenAI or similar)
• Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving abilities
• Experience with unit testing and software quality assurance

• Develop and maintain AI-based applications and backend services
• Iteratively deliver business requirements in cooperation with the Product Owner
• Support production systems and continuously improve platform reliability
• Identify areas for automation and reduce technical debt
• Collaborate closely with the team through pairing and knowledge sharing
