Security Awareness Specialist

LinkGroup is the hiring company for this Security Awareness Specialist role.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Security Awareness, Internal Communications, Educational Content Design, Marketing, or Learning & Development.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and common threats such as social engineering and phishing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with storytelling ability.
• Proven ability to develop interactive learning materials and digital content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience scaling awareness programs in large or global enterprises.
• Security industry certifications like CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with security aspects of IT and Industrial Control/Operational Technology environments.

• Author and publish engaging digital assets including e-learning modules, newsletters, video tutorials, and presentations.
• Design and implement end-to-end security training programs.
• Translate cybersecurity threats, policies, and best practices into clear, business-centric language.
• Manage the central security awareness knowledge hub on SharePoint and other internal channels.
• Utilize generative AI and modern content tools to enhance educational materials.
• Collaborate with IT Security specialists, business leaders, and vendors to align initiatives.
• Define and track key performance indicators to measure program impact.
