Senior DevOps Engineer

HEINEKEN is focusing on becoming the best-connected brewer with Digital Commerce central to this strategy, delivering IT solutions for the Route-to-Consumer ecosystem and supporting global commerce strategy. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be part of the software development team responsible for delivering, managing, and maintaining the DevOps environment and processes for in-house products.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and 8+ years overall in IT
• Experience designing, building, integrating, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, and Azure Pipelines
• Hands-on experience managing and maintaining Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Proficiency in Version Control Systems, especially Git and Azure Repos workflows
• Experience in release management and integrating services like monitoring and communication tools into pipelines
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and automation issues
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
• Pragmatic and collaborative team player

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400
• Experience with Traefik, Azure Front Door, WAF, ACME certificates
• Experience with AKS cost optimization

• Work with software developers, QAs, system administrators, and network engineers to improve delivery processes and oversee code releases and deployments
• Contribute to delivering, managing, and maintaining configuration and release automation
• Enhance the end-to-end development process ensuring platform reliability and availability
• Develop automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software using CI/CD environments
• Support and enhance build and release processes through automation, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Establish standards and guidelines for software and infrastructure configuration
• Drive operational excellence implementing automation, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Recommend, develop, and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability
• Contribute to mechanisms enabling fault tolerance and rapid recovery from failure
• Engage in discussions regarding trade-offs between performance, scalability, cost, and time-to-market
• Participate in system development to build and scale the delivery platform infrastructure
• Ensure automation of the infrastructure supporting development, testing, and production environments and contribute to improvements in infrastructure, architecture, and monitoring
