Ionic Developer (Remote)

Dev-Heroes is recruiting an experienced Frontend Consultant for a project in the Aviation & Booking industry, focusing on cross-platform development with IONIC and Angular.

• Expert knowledge of IONIC, Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, and RxJS.
• Deep understanding of modern Angular architectures, routing, reactive programming, and state management.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS including Flexbox and CSS Grid.
• Proven experience in performance optimization for web and mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of mobile security standards and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Experience working in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong consulting and advisory skills for technical decision-making.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Capacitor or Cordova plugins for native device features.

Functional & Domain Responsibilities:

• Optimize booking journey: implement and refactor multi-step checkout forms including flight search, seat selection, ancillaries, and payment flows.
• Manage state and data consistency using state management patterns (NgRx, RxJS), including offline capabilities.
• Integrate airline-specific APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, NDC) and secure payment gateways (Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards) within the mobile app.

Web & Framework Expertise (Must-Have):

• Utilize deep knowledge of Angular architecture, routing, reactive programming (RxJS), and state management (NgRx).
• Implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI using HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS (Flexbox, CSS Grid).
• Perform performance tuning: optimize render times, minimize DOM size, and reduce loading times.

Cross-Platform & Mobile Specifics:

• Apply extensive practical experience with the IONIC Framework.

Methodology & Soft Skills:

• Ensure security awareness with knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance and secure local data storage.
• Advise clients on trade-offs between web-based and native mobile experiences.
• Work effectively in agile product teams (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and participate in mobile CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Capacitor / Cordova plugins for native device features like camera, biometrics, push notifications.
