Senior Manager - Infrastructure Compute Services

• Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in technology, information security, and/or compute administration.
• At least 6 years in a management role.
• Current or previous advanced compute technical certification (e.g., VCP, RHCSA, AWS, CKA, GCP, or relevant industry certification).
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) / AI capabilities, operational automation, knowledge management, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to storage clustering software like Spectrum Scale and ScaleIO is a plus.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and/or Python.
• Experience leading software/tools development teams or compute engineering/operations teams.
• Experience in deploying large scale compute technologies.
• Proven track record in driving change and transformation in compute operations processes using metrics-driven methodologies.
• Experience in enterprise technology and cultural transformation programs.
• Understanding of compute operations ecosystem tools and technologies.
• Experience with multi-vendor networking/shared infrastructure technologies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop and produce meaningful reports from multiple data streams.

• Manage a local team of engineers in the India region and collaborate with leadership teams across US, UK, and Asia Pacific.
• Lead a 24x7x365 Operations team responsible for day-to-day Compute infrastructure management.
• Implement and drive improvements based on the ITIL framework.
• Ensure proper change management and incident escalation processes are defined and followed.
• Maintain audit compliance and deliver on corporate and departmental goals and metrics.
• Collaborate with Systems, Database, Engineering, Asset Management, Product Development, Operations, Audit and Risk, and other technology groups.
• Manage service availability, reliability, and supportability initiatives to improve performance and uptime.
• Manage heterogeneous infrastructure environments including hardware (HP, Dell, IBM) and software (Linux, AIX, CentOS, Windows OS).
• Manage enterprise virtualization technologies including VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Hyper-V.
• Drive improvements for compute operations including Level-1 & Level-2 Incident, Change, and Problem management.
• Engage with customers and partners to represent operational concerns and needs.
• Mentor technical staff and drive programs to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency.
• Establish best-practice methodologies for problem resolution based on metrics and KPIs.
• Lead innovation in Compute operations processes and tools focusing on virtualization, SDN, and big data analytics.
• Manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including vendor tools/solutions recommendations.
• Mentor, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of senior professionals and set priorities to achieve department goals.
