Technical Product Owner / Senior Specialist

We lead the end-to-end development, deployment, and continuous enhancement of Toyota’s connected services ecosystem across European markets. Our work oversees the integration of vehicle connectivity platforms, mobile applications, and cloud-based services, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless user experience. We collaborate with engineering, product, IT, legal, and external partners to accelerate service rollout and maintain operational excellence.

• Technical background with understanding of SW development practices, system design, database technologies, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and prototyping workflows.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Communication skills to articulate technical concepts across stakeholders, teams, and customers.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues, conducting root cause analysis, and defining viable technical solutions.
• Decision-making and leadership abilities to set technical priorities, resolve dependencies, and guide the team.
• Experience in sprint planning, cross-functional coordination, and backlog refinement.

• Experience in development of Connected Service for the automotive industry.

• Serve as the technical expert and advisor to the development teams, clarifying architecture, infrastructure, and design needs.
• Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized backlog.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, QA, and DevOps to ensure technical feasibility and smooth integration.
• Act as liaison between customers and development teams, translating technical complexity into accessible insights and estimates.
• Work together with UI/UX designer to define optimal customer experience.
• Maintain backlog items: new feature implementation, technical debt, infrastructure enhancements, architectural updates, and prioritize their implementation.
• Track sprint progress, identify technical blockers, and escalate as needed to maintain delivery flow.
• Coordinate across teams to harmonize dependencies, optimize resource planning, and support release cycles.
