Senior Java Developer

The Codest is an international tech software company with technology centers in Poland delivering global IT solutions and projects. They focus on website development, DevOps, and QA, specializing in scaling technology teams for clients and partners. The project involves working with one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Europe, developing scalable systems with very high traffic, data-driven and experimental working culture, building a new platform for multi-channel advertising campaign management, working on backend microservices in Java with emphasis on performance, stability, data processing, security, and deployment standards.

• Over 5 years of experience in Java, including building and maintaining production applications, automated testing, and quality best practices.
• Strong foundation in computer science, including algorithms, computational complexity, data structures, and practical understanding of collections in Java.
• Experience designing microservices and complex distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk analysis.
• Understanding of digital platforms, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly explain complex systems and algorithms to team members.
• Comfort participating in and leading technical discussions.
• Willingness to share knowledge and build a strong engineering team.

• Develop and maintain backend microservices in Java responsible for campaign management, budgeting, and integrations.
• Work on scalable systems with very high traffic and near real-time data processing.
• Apply good engineering practices, focusing on security and deployment automation.
• Collaborate in technical discussions and share knowledge within the engineering team.
