Platform Architect - Developer Experience & AI SDLC

LUX MED Sp. z o.o. is part of the LUX MED Group with an IT department of about 700 qualified specialists working on software solutions supporting doctors, patients, and clients. They employ agile techniques, automate processes to support business development, and promote knowledge sharing and flexibility in technology choices.

• Minimum 6 years experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Architect
• Experience building developer platforms (DevEx / Internal Developer Platform)
• Experience working with Backstage or similar solutions
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and developer blueprints
• Experience defining standards and governance for SDLC
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Argo CD) and quality gates
• Experience with AWS or GCP (cloud services, IAM, integrations)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization
• Knowledge of observability and log standardization
• Experience or interest in AI in SDLC (LLM, Bedrock, Vertex AI)
• Ability to build roadmap, backlog, and vision for platform development
• Strong platform and product thinking (platform as a product)

• Defining strategy and roadmap for Developer Experience and SDLC
• Managing the developer platform backlog (Backstage, CI/CD, AI tooling)
• Building and developing the developer portal (Backstage) including service catalog, golden paths, and self-service
• Defining and enforcing developer standards and blueprints (architecture patterns, reference implementations)
• Standardizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD) with quality gates and governance
• Defining quality gates for code quality, tests, security, and compliance
• Implementing AI-assisted SDLC (integrations with Bedrock / Vertex AI, Copilot, automation)
• Standardizing operational data (logs, metrics, traces) as a foundation for AI
• Building self-service mechanisms for teams (deployment, provisioning, platform features)
• Designing security by design approach
• Reducing complexity of development process and shortening time to market
• Collaborating with product teams and leadership on engineering standards
