Principal Technical Product Owner

• Experience as Technical Product Owner, Tech Lead, Staff/Principal Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Experience owning developer-focused platform products or IDPs.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud networking, infrastructure automation.
• Understanding platform architecture: multi-tenancy, Control/Data Plane, deployment workflows, service orchestration, scalability.
• Experience defining product strategy, owning roadmaps, prioritising, leading discovery.
• Stakeholder management, bridging engineering and business.
• Metrics-driven product decisions.
• Experience working with engineers, challenging decisions, driving best practices.
• Practical experience with AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to improve productivity.
• EU work permit required.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitOps.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS.
• Experience with usage-based pricing, metering, billing systems.
• Understanding of Edge Computing, CDN, high-performance networking.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Required knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, platform architecture, stakeholder management, communication, cloud networking, infrastructure automation, cloud-native architecture, platform engineering, product strategy, metrics-driven decision making.
• English language proficiency required.

• Own platform vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.
• Translate developer needs and business objectives into platform capabilities.
• Prioritise backlog and drive roadmap execution based on business value and technical impact.
• Lead product discovery, define MVPs, validate new capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and architects on platform evolution.
• Participate in architectural discussions on scalability, resilience, security, observability, multi-tenancy.
• Design intuitive developer experiences, simplify deployment and operational workflows.
• Gather feedback from users and engineering teams to improve platform.
• Align technical and business stakeholders around product strategy and delivery.
• Drive platform standards, challenge technical assumptions, contribute to solution design.
• Lead evolution of developer platform (like Railway, Vercel, Netlify) to simplify app deployment and operations.
