Senior Mobile Software Engineer - Allegro Pay

Grupa Allegro Sp. z o. o. operates a large-scale e-commerce platform with over 1000 microservices and advanced infrastructure including a Service Mesh, open-source data bus (Hermes), and production-used machine learning. The company fosters a strong mobile development community of over 100 developers.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.
• Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Proficient in Android Jetpack Compose and Coroutine.
• Familiarity with RESTful API, asynchronous programming, and efficient data handling.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Polish.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and passion for creating excellent user experiences.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features for the Allegro Android app, ensuring high quality, performance, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement innovative mobile solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions to maintain high code quality.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with latest mobile technologies and industry trends.
