(Senior) Specialist – Virtualization & Infrastructure

x1F is focused on evolving private cloud platforms and infrastructure services in virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, storage, backup, and automation technologies.

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and solid knowledge of Hyper-V and Nutanix environments.
• Advanced experience with PowerShell scripting and automation of operational processes.
• Practical experience in server, compute, and storage infrastructure administration.
• Good knowledge of IT process automation.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Strong German and English communication skills (minimum B2 level) for verbal and written business communication.

Operate:

• Keep virtualization environments based on VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix running smoothly, ensuring stability and performance.

Maintain:

• Operate and maintain compute, storage, and infrastructure hardware to ensure reliable platform services.

Optimize:

• Continuously improve the platform by driving automation and operational enhancements.

Automate:

• Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts to streamline recurring operational tasks.

Manage:

• Manage storage and backup environments, including regular operation and maintenance.

Support:

• Participate in the team's on-call rotation to ensure availability of business-critical infrastructure services.
