Data and Software Engineer (API)

Acaisoft Poland Sp. z o.o. is a software house working with one of the biggest consumer insights providers in the U.S.

• Minimum 5 years as back-end data/software engineer with experience in complex SQL stored procedures, Python, Snowflake (SnowPipes), and AWS services (S3, Lambda, Airflow, Redshift, Athena, Glue)
• Extensive experience building production-grade RESTful APIs with expertise in API design patterns, versioning strategies, and backward compatibility
• Successful integration with external API vendors and managing complex API ecosystems with third-party dependencies
• Experience with API testing frameworks, contract testing, and API monitoring and alerting systems
• Knowledge of data clean room technologies, including creating secure data shares using RBAC
• Experience with all SDLC aspects, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline setup
• Familiarity with security concepts including CCPA, GDPR, SSO, JWT, and data access controls such as aggregation constraints, projection policies, row access policies, column masking, and differential privacy
• Experience in modeling with Snowpark ML and TensorFlow

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs handling large data operations with optimal efficiency and minimal latency
• Implement performance optimization strategies including caching, rate limiting, pagination, and asynchronous processing
• Integrate with third-party API vendors and external systems managing authentication, data transformation, and error handling
• Design and implement data privacy features and services for secure multi-party collaboration, including data clean room construction and monitoring
• Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive data including personally identifiable information (PII) and financial data
• Extract, transform, clean, and interpret large data volumes using SQL and Python
• Design highly performant data structures for optimal data storage and retrieval
• Utilize advanced database technologies to enhance data storage and processing capabilities

Availability between 15:00–19:00 (CEST) is essential; occasional pre-scheduled calls with US team after 20:30 CEST
