Head of Design

EDISONDA has been designing digital products, services, and systems for large organizations for over 15 years. They combine design, research, strategy, and technology to help clients move from problem diagnosis to ready-to-implement solutions. EDISONDA is part of the Digital Driver at Grant Thornton Poland and works with clients and teams across international markets.

• At least 10 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, Service Design, or related fields
• Experience managing a design team in an international environment
• Ability to assess competencies, provide constructive feedback, and make decisions about team development
• Experience leading complex digital projects for multiple clients or stakeholders
• Understanding of economics of professional services including budgets, margins, estimations, team utilization, and scope control
• Experience preparing proposals and conducting client-facing conversations
• Ability to connect user, business, and technology perspectives
• Comfortable working with C-level executives, business, product, and technology leaders
• Fluency in Polish and English

Nice to have:

• Experience in projects for financial, energy, logistics, or healthcare sectors or large enterprise organizations
• Familiarity with enterprise systems, legacy modernization, digital accessibility, design systems, and AI-based interface design

• Own the Product Design line's P&L, driving revenue at target margins
• Monitor project budgets and prevent cost overruns
• Identify upselling opportunities with existing clients
• Manage a portfolio of 3–5 key clients and maintain high satisfaction
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
• Support teams in making key design decisions
• Plan project staffing and maintain optimal team utilization
• Match competencies to projects, preventing overload and bench time
• Lead and develop the Design team through 1-on-1s, certification paths, and performance reviews
• Evaluate design quality, seniority levels, and potential of designers
• Collaborate with Growth team on proposals, estimations, and client pitches
• Develop Design services with Digital Partner, Growth team, and other managers
• Collaborate with Research & Data, Digital Strategy, and AI & Automation teams
• Advance practices in digital product design, enterprise systems, design systems, services, and AI-driven interfaces
