Senior Linux Administrator (f/m/x)

Sii Polska seeks an experienced Linux Administrator to maintain secure, stable, and highly available Linux-based environments with a focus on administration, vulnerability fixing, automation, and operational support for application and middleware platforms.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration
• Strong understanding of system security, vulnerability fixing, patching, and hardening practices
• Practical experience in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Ansible
• Experience with Jenkins administration or support
• Knowledge of Tomcat/JWS administration, troubleshooting, and operational support
• Ability to analyze logs and resolve technical incidents independently
• Good communication skills and readiness to cooperate internationally
• Reliability, ownership, and proactive approach to operational improvements
• Availability for hybrid work (2 days per week in Kraków office)

Nice to have:

• Experience with IBM products like WebSphere Liberty Profile (WLP), IBM MQ, or ACE
• Previous experience in banking or regulated enterprise environments
• Knowledge of additional automation, configuration management, or monitoring tools
• Red Hat or other Linux-related certification

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux environments emphasizing stability, availability, and security
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and application issues in Linux-based environments
• Support vulnerability management via patching, hardening, and remediation
• Create and maintain automation scripts using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible
• Support and administer Jenkins-based automation processes
• Maintain and troubleshoot application server components, especially Tomcat/JWS
• Cooperate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure operational continuity
• Analyze logs, incidents, and monitoring alerts to identify root causes and prevent issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and security instructions
