Lead Software Engineer – Rust

Link Group is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Rust to take technical ownership of high-volume, distributed systems supporting critical processes. The role involves modernization of the platform and close collaboration with global technology and operations teams to build scalable and high-performance solutions.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience designing distributed, scalable, and high-performance systems.
• Good understanding of concurrent programming and system architecture.
• Willingness and openness to working with C#/.NET as part of the existing technology stack and platform evolution.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, or similar.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership.

Nice to have:

• Professional experience with C#/.NET.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, serverless, or cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Experience in financial markets.

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems using Rust.
• Remain hands-on with software development, technical design, and code reviews.
