• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures from an IT perspective.
• Strong application portfolio assessment and rationalization experience.
• Experience documenting application/software landscapes and dependencies.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience with application lifecycle management and governance.
• Understanding of SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid application environments.
• Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data flows.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) concepts.
• Understanding of software licensing and vendor management.
• Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance considerations when assessing applications.
• Experience producing architecture diagrams, inventories, and executive reports.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced integration environment.

• Conduct discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Inventory and document all business applications/software, including purpose, owners, users, licensing, integrations, infrastructure, and support arrangements.
• Map applications/software from the acquired company to the existing enterprise application/software portfolio.
• Assess functional overlap, duplication, and opportunities for consolidation.
• Identify business-critical applications and dependencies.
• Produce software rationalization recommendations, including retain, replace, retire, or consolidate options.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams to validate findings.
• Present recommendations and executive summaries to IT leadership.
• Support the development of the post-acquisition application integration roadmap.
