Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)

Mindrift runs the Tendem project aiming to build native and cross-platform mobile applications within a hybrid AI + human environment, connecting specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mobile app development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one framework: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI (iOS), or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android).
• Strong foundation in mobile application development, platform-specific UI/UX patterns, and building stable, high-quality experiences.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI patterns, navigation, state management, and platform guidelines.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, and managing local storage.
• Familiarity with native device APIs for notifications, camera, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Experience with mobile build tools, code signing, and submission to App Store / Google Play.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) level or above.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Experience implementing in-app purchases, ads, or subscriptions.
• Familiarity with backend services such as Firebase, Supabase, or similar.
• Portfolio of shipped mobile apps with App Store / Google Play links.

• Build mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
• Implement responsive mobile UIs that follow platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Integrate native device features including camera, push notifications, location, storage, biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs, handle offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization features such as in-app purchases, ads, and subscriptions.
• Evaluate AI-generated mobile code and refactor it for correctness, performance, battery use, and maintainability.
• Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution via TestFlight and Play Console.

This is a freelance role based in Poland, fully remote with flexible working hours. Candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above.
