Junior Test Engineer

Manufacturo is a SaaS company building software used by companies in advanced industrial programs such as satellites, fusion reactors, next-generation aircraft, and hypersonic vehicles. Their platform powers complex manufacturing operations for clients including Hermeus, Relativity Space, and Sierra Space.

• Curiosity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of web applications and REST/HTTP APIs
• Basic SQL skills, including simple SELECT queries and understanding data relationships
• Willingness to work with manual testing and test automation
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to use them to improve work
• Good English communication skills, especially written

Nice to have:

• Experience in software testing, development, technical support, IT, engineering, manufacturing, or analytical roles
• Exposure to test automation through courses, internships, projects, or bootcamps
• Basic understanding of browser developer tools, especially Console and Network tabs
• Experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, ERP/MES, warehouse, or shopfloor environments
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
• Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude for learning, testing, or coding
• Interest in space, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or complex industrial systems

• Test new product features, bug fixes, and changes by exploring product behavior to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and risks
• Learn core workflows across production, planning, inventory, and shopfloor operations
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements
• Verify data using basic SQL queries
• Test REST/HTTP APIs using tools such as Postman
• Investigate issues using UI, data, API responses, and logs; report bugs clearly with reproduction steps and evidence
• Support and contribute to test automation, maintaining existing automated tests
• Use AI tools to aid learning, test idea generation, bug investigation, and automation basics
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality early in development
